Written by bill
Friday, 01 February 2008
The email lists we currently use such as AUG-UKI AUG-UKI-CIRC AUG-UKI-ILL etc
will all be changing over to the new name shortly. Mostly it will just be a case of replacing the AUG- with EPUG- and I am told that all archives will be preserved and mail will continue to be delivered under the "old name" for months ahead.
I will email out to the lists when it is rolled out, and it should not require any interruptions to service, but you never know!

Thursday, 03 January 2008
As agreed at the Special General Meeting at the British Library (16th October 2007) , we have changed our name from Aleph User Group, UK and Ireland to Ex Libris Products User Group, UK and Ireland
The new name reflects our expanded membership which will from this year be open to any user of any of the Ex Libris Products within the UK and Ireland. Effectively this means members of SMUG the SFX Metalib Users Group, and also Voyager users.
This also reflects the change in the international community of groups representing Ex Libris Users.
